A Simple Way to Travel Through Time

• When we look up and admire the starry night sky, have you ever thought that this might be one of the simplest ways to travel through time?

• The universe is so vast that even the speed of light—approximately 300,000 kilometers per second—seems slow. The light from distant stars takes years or even millions of years to reach Earth and enter our view.

• The stars we see in the sky don’t appear as they are now. By the time their light reaches Earth, these distant stars may have become spectacular supernovae or even completely disappeared.

• To simplify, if aliens had powerful telescopes 65 million light-years away, they could clearly see the real reason for the extinction of dinosaurs on Earth. But this doesn’t matter to us because we cannot see our own planet from 65 million light-years away.

• Perhaps one day, we too might witness ancient pioneers of other planets working and evolving on their land.

• The reason for all this is the time delay caused by the speed of light, making it seem as if we are traveling through time. What do you think, friends?
