FA CUP semi-final updates 21-22 April 2018
The English Premier League has taken some break for the International Friendlies to take place however, after resuming alot will be happening in England.
The FA Cup semi-final will be taking place where four teams will be participating. Chelsea will be facing Southampton while Manchester United will face Tottenham.
Chelsea secured a place in the semi-final draw after 2-1 win against Leicester City at extra time on Sunday 18th, March 2018, in the quarter-final of the FA Cup. The two teams will play each other twice in a match scheduled for premier league before the semi-final at St. Mary's on April 14th this year. The previous match Chelsea won 1-0 at the Stamford Bridge in December against Southampton. Mark Hughes is the new Southampton boss.
On the other hand, Manchester United will face Tottenham at Wembley Stadium where Tottenham have played all their home games this season. This is because their stadium is still under construction.
Spurs have won more games at Wembley and so this will be an advantage to them. United were drawn against Tottenham after beating Brighton 2-0 in the quarter-final on Saturday.
On their last meeting on January 31 at Wembley Tottenham beat United 2-0.!
