Two robbers killed in Jessore shootout
Police recovered the bodies of two unknown people shot dead in Manirampur of Jessore.
Police recovered two bodies from two lanes of Gangulia Jamtala road on Rajganj-Pulerhat road on Monday night. On Tuesday, police sent two dead bodies to Jessore General Hospital morgue.
Police have recovered four shots, two ropes and a saw from the scene. Police claims that they were killed in gunfire between robbers of two groups.
The two killed are 45-50 years old. They have a gunshot mark on their heads.
Manirampur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mokarram Hossain said that after reaching Gopalganj Amtala intersection, a bus from Satkhira, which was left from Dhaka by two o'clock in the night, heard the sound of the guns. In-charge of Khadapara camp, SI Ainuddin, in-charge, was present. He saw a few people running away towards Rohita Bazar. During this, I saw two bodies lying on both sides of the road. Later, additional police went to the morgue and recovered the bodies and sent them to the morgue for six in the morning.
Four rows and a saw were recovered from the spot. Thana police say they were killed in the firing between robbers of two groups.
