Homemade Honey Sesame Chicken
I have some recipes that I think everyone should try. One of those recipes is this one. My life was completely transformed by the sweet and sour chicken I had at first. Chinese food of the same caliber as P.F. Chang's can be prepared at home. Then my firecracker chicken, a fiery variation of this delectable chicken, appeared. With these recipes, I had passed away and been to Chinese cuisine paradise. It couldn't possibly get any better than this, in my opinion. I was happy because I adore Chinese food so much. But I later came up with honey sesame chicken. I'll tell you something. The greatest of them all is this.
The breading is where it all begins. The combination of cornstarch and egg gives it a restaurant-like flavor. The sauce thickens, the chicken browns, and something about baking the chicken completely blows your mind. Seriously, as I was eating it, I could scarcely believe how good it was. These simple ingredients are probably sitting in your pantry right now. I love that this comes together so easily. You are going to love the luscious sauce.
-Chicken Breasts: About 4 chicken breasts
-Cornstarch: Needed for breading

-Canola: Just enough to fry in

How to Make Easy Honey Sesame Chicken
Nothing could be simpler than this. Keep in mind that you are only briefly frying the chicken; the remainder will be cooked in the oven.
1.Oven: Set temperature to 325 degrees F. Chicken should be cut into bite-sized pieces, and salt and pepper should be added.
2.Cornstarch should be placed in one bowl. Place the eggs in the other bowl and lightly beat them. Before dipping it into the egg mixture, coat the chicken with cornstarch.
3.Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat for a flash fry. The chicken should be cooked until slightly golden brown throughout. Place in a 9x13-inch oiled pan.
4.In a medium bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients and stir until well blended. Add to the chicken.
5.Bake the chicken for 45 minutes, turning it over after 15 minutes to provide a uniform coating.

The Method to the Madness: Ensure that you coat your chicken with cornstarch first, followed by egg. The breading created using this technique is ideal for poultry. The chicken can be coated in cornstarch using a large gallon ziplock bag as an alternative.
Quickly: Don't fully cook the chicken before baking. The chicken only has to be lightly browned on the outside before baking to perfection.
Low and Slow: Baking the chicken slowly at a low temperature prevents overcooking. This assists in fully cooking the chicken and thickening the sauce.
Tips for the Best Honey Sesame Chicken
This baked honey chicken comes together very quickly, but it does take some time to cook in the oven. To make it simpler to chop, cut the chicken while it is still partially frozen. However, wait until they are defrosted before baking and cooking them.
Chicken: If you'd prefer, you could use chicken thighs. To ensure that your chicken pieces cook at the same rate, just cut them evenly.
Vinegar: You may simply swap apple cider vinegar for rice wine vinegar if you don't have any on hand without the flavor being compromised.
Veggies: To give a little more variety to the dinner, add broccoli, peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, or other vegetables.
Serve: While this is undoubtedly wonderful on its own, we prefer to serve it with rice. You can also try quinoa, brown rice, or ramen noodles.

Sauce : Make a double batch of the sauce if you want extra. Put half of the mixture in a small saucepan and cook it over medium heat until it thickens before pouring it over the chicken to bake. When the chicken has finished cooking, spoon the excess sauce over it or over each serving. This provides you extra sauce while preventing it from becoming sloppy during cooking.
