Homemade Kanafa
Danielle and I made kanafa this weekend and it was tons of fun. :)
It was much easier than I thought it would be when we decided we were going to make it and it doesn't take very long to cook. Just make sure you have everything you need before you start. It also helps to have a local Arabic market neer you too haha!

Make sure you have your phyllo dough.
Then you will need cheese and pistachios. You will then need to make your sweet syrup using rose water and lemon slices.
This is a great recipe so if your interested in baking Arabic sweets follow the directions, don't take short cuts and most importantly, have fun :)
