Finding a good travel outfit is a seemingly Herculean task. You want something that's comfortable and easy to move in, but you still want to look pulled together. This is a subject I know a lot about; growing up, I was not allowed to wear workout clothes or sweatpants on a plane, and my airport outfit usually consisted of jeans or pants with a T-shirt and sweater. While I'm not recommending everyone wear their most rigid denim for a transcontinental flight, I do think that getting dressed in some way, shape, or form is a sign of respect for the crew members and airline staff, your fellow passengers, and yourself. It's important to note that cute airport outfits can still be comfy airport outfits; they're not mutually exclusive. Think of it as a step up from pajamas, but something you could freely move around in and survive delays, customs, and long waits at baggage claim.
