RE: Winter has arrived
No real mountains in Brazil, or just none close to where you live? I really don't know much about Brazil, other than it has some nice mild weather, rarely to hot or to cold, but can be rather humid at times especially in close to the jungle areas. I sort of feel good that I have gotten to experience a lot of different weathers/climates, although I would have to say I have never really experienced a tropical Jungle environment, the closet I have come to that is in Hawaii, or in the southern united states in parts of Alabama. Humidity and me do not get along very well.
Yes, we do have mountains, but even on top of them it does not snow in most of the country, except in the southern states of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. If we get 10 Celsius we call it cold.
The humidity is very varied. In most of the large cities in Brazil, which are coastal, the climate is actually very hot and humid. But in the cities of the interior the humidity is much lower. For instance, in the capital of Brasilia in the months of July and August the humidity is below 10%. Almost like a desert.
