One night in the jungle

Somewhere in the world, there was a jungle that remained uncharted for untold years. Many attempts to fully explore it but scientists have either ended up in their disappearance or in complete failure due to circumstances beyond their control. Despite those events, there was a small community of people that had learned how to live in this particular environment. Now, it was nearing sunset and two members of the community are still out and about within the jungle.

A set of bushes parted and a young man in his mid twenties emerged from them. He had dark brown eyes, brown hair and had an athletic build about him. He wore a dark grey t-shirt with a faded Union Jack on it and a pair of jean shorts. He shaded his eyes and saw the sun starting to disappear in a darkening sky. Despite of being the recent member of the community and warned of the dangers of the jungle at night, the young man had proven himself to be a very capable and confident survivor. His only fault was his lack of communication skills and his tendencies to work alone and to take some unnecessary risks.
