Hello everyone, I still havent sattled on what I want to use my Steemit account for but most likly it's going to become something where I just post whatever I want.

So today I wanted to talk about the Jumpcoin. First I'm going to talk about it in German since it's a project mainly aimed at German-speaking audience but later in this article you will find an English translation.

Was ist Jumpcoin (JUMP)?

Der Jumpcoin ist ein Community-Projekt, des Crypto-YouTubers JumperBilliJumper. Vor ein paar Jahren entschied er sich, einen Community-Coin für seine Community programmieren zu lassen. Seither ist der Jumpcoin ein großes Thema im Kanaleigenem Forum "CoiNerd".
Bei diesem Projekt handelt es sich um einen echten Coin mit einer eigenen Blockchain und nicht um einen Token etwa auf der Blockchain des Ethereum (ETH).

Wert des Coins

Die Community setzt viel daran, dem Euro-Denken zu entwischen, weshalb der Coinpreis zumeist in Bitcoin-Satoshi angegeben wird, oder schlichtweg einfach garnicht erwähnt wird, da es sich um ein Community-Projekt handelt und keine Wert-Anlage. Der aktuelle Preis liegt bei ca. 15 Satoshi (26.11.2021).

Weitere Informationen zum Coin

Es handelt sich um einen Staking-Coin, der jedoch bis zum Block 100.000 Mining unterstützt hat. Anwendung findet der Coin aktuell eher weniger, jedoch arbeitet die Community aktivst an "Usecases" für den Coin.
Aktuell hat die Blockchain ca. 750.000 Blöcke und ist unter 500 Megabyte groß.
Die Blockzeit liegt im Vergleich zu anderen Coins, wie bei Bitcoin (BTC) mit 10 Minuten, bei eher niedrigen 2 Minuten pro Block, was schnelle Transaktionen ermöglicht.

Wie gelange ich an Jumpcoins?

Zu allererst, wird ein Wallet benötigt. Dieses kann von Jumpcoin.net heruntergeladen werden. Ich empfele die Bootstrap-Zip, da dort nichtmehr ehländig lang die Blockchain synchronisieren muss.

Um nun an Jumpcoins zu gelangen, gibt es zwei Wege.
Weg Eins ist das Kaufen von einer Börse, die den Jumpcoin listet (Siehe "Exchanges" auf Jumpcoin.net).
Der zweite weg ist völlig kostenfrei und trägt zugleich zur Verbesserung des Projektes hinzu. Dieser ist das Registrieren auf CoiNerd und dort Beiträge zu verfassen. Für diese Tätigkeit bekommt man NerdCoins, die im Verhältnis 1/50 (JUMP/NerdCoin) im Forum-Shop eintauschbar sind.

What's Jumpcoin (JUMP)?

Jumpcoin is a community-project, of the crypto-YouTuber JumperBilliJumper. A few years ago he decided to have a community coin programmed for his community. Ever since the Jumpcoin is a big topic in the channels forum "CoiNerd".
This is a real coin with its own Blockchain and not a Token on any other Blockchains like that one of Ethereum (ETH).

Value of the Coins

The community tries hard to get away from thinking in fiat currencies, which is why the coins price is mostly given in Bitcoin-Satishis, or just not at all, since it's a community project and not something to invest your money in if you are not even interested in the community. The current value is at around 15 Satoshis (26.11.2021).

More information to the Coin

It's a Staking-Coin, that supported Mining anyways up to the 100,000th Block. Currently there aren't many usecases, but the community is very activly searching for some.
The current height is at around 750,000 and the chain has a seize of under 500 megabytes.
The blocktime is relativly low at two minutes per Block, compared to Bitcoins (BTC) 10 minutes for example, which is good for fast transactions.

How do I get Jumpcoins? (Atention - Translator or German-Skills probaly required)

At first you need a Wallet. This can be downloaded from Jumpcoin.net. I advise you to take the Bootstrap-Zip, since you don't have to synchronise with all of the Blockchain anymore.

To get Jumpcoins now there are two ways.
The first was is to buy Coins from Exchanges like them listed on Jumpcoin.net.
The second way is totally free. Just register at CoiNerd and start helping the community by asking questions and answering questions of other all around the crypto space. For everything you write there you are paid in Nerd-Coins which can be traded to Jumpcoins in a ratio of 50 Nerd-Coins to 1 Jumpcoin. You can even write in english - they have such categories as well!
