It has been said that about 65 percent of careers in the future are still untold/unheardof! Considering the rate at which technology is evolving, however, this statistic isn't farfetched!

It isn't 2025 yet and steemit is already creating untold or unheardof jobs. I wish i was techy and could envision at large, how much expansion the steem technology, can do in the coming decades, so as to know what additional new jobs courtesy of steem technology, the world will have in 2025. 

I leave this vision to the techy people and developers of steem blockchain.  

(NB: I wonder what @ned and @dantheman see in their dream, of where steem technology is going, in the nearest decade) 

It is fun to imagine; but can we really imagine the vastness of steem technology, in the coming decade?

In the short time, since the inception of Steem technology, I have already seen untold/unheardof jobs created; and this I will highlight below along with a number of job openings and career paths that will only become available in 2025:

Virtual habitat designer

 Virtual reality has started becoming reality! Based on the interest of the world on this subject and the pacey growth of this sector; by 2025, habitats will be created around virtual reality and ofcourse, these'll require creative minds and designers; involved in create exciting and sustaining virtual worlds and learning environments.

The advent of digital spaces will have begun, with countries, landscapes, sceneries, and probably even outer space; all built, in virtual reality! A VHD will have to exist, to design and create these worlds. 

There will also be players, who would take up roles, of living, working and playing, in these virtual worlds.

This tells of countless virtual-reality-related jobs; one of which will be, a virtual habitat designer.

What happens to the virtual world or sandbox, called steem technology and how many more untold/unheardof jobs, will steem technology have produced by 2025? It is practically unimaginable!

Steemit, for instance, is still in its first year and it already feels like "virtual reality"; where people build dreams, do copyright, get patent, do banking, get loans, create economies etc.

I am not techy enough, to know or envision at large, how many untold/unheardof jobs, steem technology has already created but i do know that i; already have a virtual-reality related job, courtesy of steemit, because, i really don't know how this happens in actual reality, but "i have mined the cryptocurrency 'steem' using only my mind" and this to me, is the height of Virtual Reality.  

I already have an untold/unheardof and virtual job as a 'steem mind miner'. Magic! Virtual Reality! 

     

Ethical technology advocate

Robots are becoming popular and behind the scenes are actively being implemented and tested. AI bots etc, are playing roles on Facebook, Skype, Telegram etc. 

Bots are already playing immense roles on steemit. There is therefore, no doubt that the next decade, will be the era for robots.  

but; won't Robots take over the world? 

"How won't they rob the banks?" "How won't they do like in the movies and send humans away from Earth to Mars?" "How won't they take over customer service?" "How won't they take away all the jobs?" 

Unless, they are curbed, monitored? "No! Unless, the extra countless robotic engineers that are will exist then, are monitored, to ensure that every created robots, maintains moral and ethical rules".  

New job roles called, Ethical Technology Advocate, will exist in 2025; "for robots not to overthrow humans!"

Where does steem technology come in? 

Steemit, is in its first year, yet, it has created a fresh untold/unheardof job already, in this sector! I have already seen the job or career, "Ethical bot Police": 

Well recently, a funny thing i saw here on steemit, explains this job role! 

"So, @asshole started flagging posts and comments; then i see amazing steemians, who have come to the fore on our behalf, to ease our pain as it is apparent, that they have developed ways to counter these flags, with their 1 percent. @pfunk10 and @seraph have combined forces against @asshole, with their counter 1 percent upvotes.

Too, a recent post by @klye, shows this new job role and the way i see it, it is already a passionate job:

Digital cultural commentator

In the coming decade, visual communication will reign on social media. If you have taken full advantage of the Facebook messenger, you can already see this evidence. 

To an extent, i have played with most of the buttons on the Facebook messenger and clicking on the button, that allows you to respond to your messages by means of apps; you will see many of these apps, involving digital communication. So basically, there are apps, that lets you answer to your Facebook messages, solely, with videos, emojis, GIFs, snaps or pictures. 

In fact, you can use 'clips from blockbuster movies', to respond to you Facebook messenger chats. 

Social media, built around a more digital culture, like Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc are evolving really fast and in the next decade, it will become a social media will become a more digital culture. Thus, jobs and careers will definitely be created, around mastering communicating to mass audiences by means of digital imagery. 

DCC’s will effectively communicate entire stories solely by means of imagery!

Freelance biohacker   

Biological research and science, has been reigned, mostly by professional teams in universities; corporate research and development departments, for many decades; but the rise of open-source software platforms, within the next decade, will democratize this sector, giving room for freelance bio-hackers, scientists, perhaps, even freelance herbal practitioners; to join in the process, research; involved in creating cure or treatment for diseases.     

Open-source gene editing tool called CRISPR is already creating a platform, for many freelance scientists around the world, to collaborate on searching for treatments for Depression, Schizophrenia, Autism and Alzheimer’s. 

As this happens, new heroes will emerge among freelance scientists, who have become renown; from bringing about bio-breakthrough, without having conventional education, hence, the birth of new careers and freelance bio-hackers!
I have kept talking of my SteemLab and having steemians collaborate in cooking up our constant steemian research, into true world solution, milestones, breakthroughs for unsolved problems in the world! 

@krnel, @dragosroua etc, are constantly sourcing out lost information in the field of science, biology, technology, science and denting it into the steem blockchain forever.

We already have freelance bio-hackers in the making here on steem blockchain. 

"The coming decade?" You imagine!   

IoT (Internet of Things) Data Creatives

The IoT is already transforming the world we live in, with devices from cars to home electrics now embedable with electronics, software, chips, sensors, that allow them to collect and exchange data. 

IoTDCs will need to exist in 2025 to gather these data, analyze and interpret them; into valuable data to enhance our daily lives!

I don't understand the Internet of things fully yet, thus, I can tell yet, where steem technology has reached as a player in this regard. 

I leave this to be envisioned by steemians, who already understand the Internet of things. 

Perhaps, a technology driving in this direction is IFTTT; an app that is already able to control daily life activities using triggers and the Internet. 

In general, the essence of this post, is mostly to present the fun part, of playfully imagining even now, how vast steem technology can grow into, in the next decade, plus its possible role of creating countless fresh carriers and eradicating poverty.

Space tour guide   

The likes of Virgin Galactic, Earth orbit are working on making travel, to outer space more successful, enjoyable and affordable by 2025. And a whole new category of jobs and careers will storm out of this.  
 

For those with guts; there will be job openings for "space tour guides"; as someone, will need to guide space tourists and strategize visits to the most interesting parts of the Earth’s orbit.

On steem technology and in a decade; at the very least, we will have this job opening or career path: the 'Steem Blockchain Tour Guide.

Steem technology, will no doubt have become an expanse in 2025 as Steemians, will start to peer into the galaxy, in the eyes of the steem blockchain and ofcourse, we'll need a guide on this tour; bot or alien!   

Personal content curator  

By the next decade; software-brain interfaces, will have been brought to the fore by teams of neuroscientists; allowing mass audiences to read and capture thoughts, memories and dreams and perhaps, manage the data storage etc, of their minds. 

This technology will require teachers, curators. 

Personal Content Curators; will help people to use these systems, to increase the storage capacity of their minds, providing services that allows keeping and accessing databases of treasured memories and experiences.

Well, i am not able to envision at large, how steem technology will evolve in this regard; but we'll definitely have the best curators in every sector, in 2025. 

I mean, we curate on steemit, each day and we have guilds that maximize curation. 

Imagine, how good we will have become in curating, in a decade! 

Too, steem blockchain, is always available to hold databases of memories, dreams, legacies, minds, brains; forever, in case eventually, people look for where to keep these sacred forms of data, safe and in existence forever!  

Rewilding strategist 

By 2025, the planet will struggle to host the possible nine billion humans, with the resources available. More technologically methods of conservation will need to evolve. Rewilding Strategists, will thus need to exist to create more viable ecosystems, in the then stressed landscapes, by means of stitching flora and fauna from around the world and re-introducing plants and animals, that have been in extinction into existence; in order to create resilient and vibrant landscapes to host the human populace!

Steem technology, will no doubt play its role as a massive library containing research, on this one!   

Sustainable power innovator  

By 2025, resource depletion will drive more attention towards sustainable energy.  
 

How do we make power or energy last for longer, in the absence of natural power, like wind or sun. SPIs, will need to surface as well as, experts in chemistry and material science, to work on inventing technology, battery storage capabilities; to help cope with the power demands of the our imminent reliance on the Internet of Things, in 2025! 

Steem blockchain technology is already on this path. Steem technology uses graphene and this post by @sauravrungta shows graphene's role, in the evolution of sustainable power!

Bio-Engineering is speedily becoming mainstream, when it comes to human life, pertaining especially, to longevity of life and enhanced health. As the growth of replacement tissues and organs, become more viable, fashionable and affordable; HPDs will evolve to apply bio-engineering, in creating a huge range of customized human limbs, organs, etc, for enhanced health, longevity and perhaps even fashion!

Steem already hosts a database of information related to development in every field, sector and definitely bio-engineering. Again, check out just once steemian's blog, @krnel, to find endless array of research work, on milestones and breakthroughs in the world of science and bio-hacking. 

Imagine how much information of this sort, will have been amassed on the steem blockchain by 2025!

Like I said earlier, Steem technology has only just begun; yet, it has started created unheardof jobs or careers. 

Behind the scenes, I know it has! 

In front of the scenes, however; and, I have seen a few new jobs created as mentioned above but one that interest me the most is called; The Giver.  

The Giver: one of the best jobs created so far by steemit, that involves mining steem with minds; then heartily giving it out to steemians who struggle, mostly, to put a smile on their face!

Hahaha, the best job on Earth, is most definitely the job of preaching the word of Jehovah, to the masses of humanity.
