On September 24th, 2017, Lock&Stock launched Lock&Offers, our portal that allows students to earn rewards for their time spent in class, and redeem said rewards for offers and discounts from many of the UAE’s hottest brands.

Within a mere seven months, Lock&Offers boasted more than two hundred listed brands, including the likes of Vox Cinemas, Careem, Zomato, Talabat, Forever 21 and Charley’s Philly Steaks, with close to ten thousand students interacting with the portal on an active basis.

However, we believe there’s one thing students crave more than discounts, and that’s jobs. Because of the intricate network of regulations surrounding employment here in the UAE, this country’s double digit youth unemployment rate is one of the highest in the world. Furthermore, in the unfortunate event a fresh (expatriate) graduate cannot source a job, he or she must depart the UAE for home shores. This places a premium on pre-graduation work experience.

Lock&Jobs allows students to use their rewards to apply for available jobs and internships.

Lock&Jobs is a free to use platform for partner brands, and offers recruiters the opportunity to source interns and fresh inductees from among some of the UAE’s brightest, young talent.

While other online internship portals will charge you an arm and a half in annual subscription fees, we strongly believe an internship program should be experimental and flexible, and open to change based on a company’s specific requirements.
