Kedondong is a tree-shaped fruit plant that lives in tropical regions. This plant comes from Southeast Asia and South Asia. Fruit plants derived from the family of Anacardiaceae consist of various types. The kedondong which has the potential to be planted in Indonesia are kedondong kendeng, bangkok, and karimunjawa. Plant called Latin Spondias dulcis Forst. This can be used starting from the fruit, leaves, stems, skin, and roots because it contains saponin compounds, flavonoids, and tannins.

Softening Meat - According to Morton in Inayati (2007) study we can use kedondong leaves to soften meat. The way is boiled leaves along with tough meat. Kedondong leaves will release substances that can break or break the connective tissue in the meat so that the meat becomes softer.

Skin Diseases - Both leaves, flowers, roots, and kedondong skin are useful in traditional medicine (Gupta et al., 2010). One of them is to treat skin diseases.
