Jiu-Jitsu Training Journal - Sunday 2/3/19 - Honolulu Hawaii
Yesterday was one hour of hard No-Gi training.
The session started with a 30 minute continuous roll. The first 5 minutes was a flow roll and the next 25 was an all out battle. The goal was submission. It was an action packed, fast paced roll with heel hooks, straight ankle locks, arm bars, chokes, slicers, and cranks.
The next session was 15 minutes of takedown. Fights from standing and a reset once the position was established. This was so intense as we were all tired from the roll.
Once this was done it was 15 minutes of takedown drills. Doubles, singles, fireman carries, and throws.
After an hour we were all spent. 60 minutes of hard training with no rest.
