One and half year ago to get 1 GB deta per day was a dream for Indians and no one had even imagined if it would be possible in nearby future. Joi’s entry slashed the prices by more the 200 times. Today India is moving towards the goal of it become the most data comsuming country. Reliane just repeated its history of taking the prices to an unprecedented low as it did few years ago when call rate in INDIA used to be 10 rs per min. The price war induced by jio has created a conducive environment for Indian content creators as we can see a huge inflow of youtubers after jio has been launched.

Jio not just pulled the prices down but it also seems commited to provide its users world class facilities from which India had been deprived of for a long time. With the availability of low cost data Indian user are proving to be huge data consumers motivating creators to infuse more data and this trend takes India to an influencial position.
In past some days we can clearly notice the change in policies of worlds leading companies in this field. These world leading companies are now forced to divert from their mindset about India.

I think crediting jio only for slashing prices of data is not enough. It shoud be given credit also for the revolution it has created in communication field in India.
