Longtime D.C. News Anchor Jim Vance Dead at 75
Vance tied down the 6 p.m. broadcast on WRC-TV from 1969 to May of 2015, he is a staple in the neighborhood news scene.
Jackie Bradford, president and general supervisor of NBC4, discharged the accompanying articulation:
"We are shattered to declare that Jim Vance kicked the bucket toward the beginning of today. For over 45 years, Jim Vance was the spirit of NBC4 as well as of the whole Washington zone. His smooth voice, splendid personality and extraordinary chuckle leaves each of us with a gigantic void.Vance constantly praised the great and recognized the parts of life that turned out poorly well. That made him an extraordinary man. To everybody in the Washington region who is sorrowful today, please know we lament appropriate alongside you. Jim adored his employment, his family and Washington with his entire being, and we will all esteem the inheritance he has abandoned us for eternity."
