There is a manuscript of the Quiche that contains the origin to their greatest king who ruled in the second half of the fifteenth century. This manuscript was translated ed into Spanish by Dionisio Jose Chonay and into English by Delia Goetz. The title of the manuscript is Title of the Totonicopan:

"These then were the three nations of the Quiches and they came from where the sun rises, descendants of Israel, of the same language and customs. When they arrived at the edge of the see, Balam-Qitze touched it with his staff and at once a path opened which then closed up again for thus the great God wished it to be done, because they were the sons of Abraham and Jacob." Balam-Qitze, a leader in the description given in Title of the Lords of Totonicapan, has a Hebrew cognate. Baal, Hebrew word meaning Lord, Master, owner, possessor The Torah discusses idol worship of the principal Canaanite idol Baal. There is also a biblical character Balaam (Numbers 22:5). There is an adjective in Hebrew Qatzar, as a form Qitzar which is cognate to Qitzo. This leader's name is then Short(term) Master. some perspective on the dates: The Tower of Babel is around 1996 on the Hebrew calendar which is 1765 BCE on an calendar. Abraham is born in 1948 on the Hebrew calendar which is 1822 BCE on the Gregorian calendar, some time before the Tower of Babel. Jacob dies in 2255 on the Hebrew calendar which is 1515 BCE on the Gregorian calendar, 259 years after the Tower of Babel. The history transmitted in Title of the Lords of Totonicapan that mentions Jacob has been verified to take place not much earlier than 1515 BCE.

Another reference linking the Mayans to the biblical ancestors of the Hebrews. It is in a book manuscript dating from the priest Friar Diego de Landa. This is the priest who is infamous for what is known as the Auto de fe event of Meni, at which in addition to burning some 5000 Mayan idols, he burned 27 Mayan hieroglyphic scrolls. The Friar wrote a book whose title in Engish translation is Yucatan Before and After the Conquest:

"Some old men of Yucatan say that they have heard from their ancestors that this country was peopied by a certain race who came from the East whom God delivered by opening for them twelve roads through the sea, if this is true, all the inhabitants of the indies must be of Israelite descent..." The first letter of Hebrew alphabet Aleph is represented by an ox while the last letter Tov is represented as a mark, i.e. X marks the spot or mark of the beast which is Aleph ox, in reference to the agricultural practice of ploughing straight rows by placing a marker at the end of the field for an ox to follow. The supreme diety of Canaanites El, aka El Elyon/Most High, was identified with a bull, later adopted by Ba'al Haddad (weather & fertility), Moloch (fire), Yahweh (I am / light) and other cults.

Who is Baal? What about Asherah, Dagon, Marduk, Moloch and the other pagan gods of the Bible? And was human sacrifice part of their worship?

"Moses of the Bible was Mesoamerican. From Sinai to the burning bush, almost the entire history within the Torah is describing the scenery of the Great Southwest Wilderness of USA and Mexico. The word Maya itself is connected to the Hebrew significance of Moses' name. The Maya called themselves "Lords of the Water" or "True People". Water in Hebrew is mayam, a dual noun of Maya. Moses means to draw out, for he was found floating on a river in a basket. The life of Moses also describes him being master or lord of water being he split a sea in half and was able to produce water from a rock.

On the Arizona-Mexico border are the Tohono O'odham, or People of the Desert. The Tohono call the founder of their civilization Iitoi meaning Elder Brother combines qualities of Noah, Lot, Moses and Jesus. In the beginning, the Creator brought forth a Desert People, but over the generations they had gone bad, all except Elder Brother, whom the Creator had placed upon the sacred mountain. Afterward, Iitoi descended from the mountain and helped found the Hohokam people and taught them the rules of how to live.

MOSES AKHENATEN

Mose in Egyptian means born of, as in Ramose or Thutmose. The biblical character Moses is based on the heretic king Akhenaten of the 18th dynasty who has lost control of Egypt and after exodus from there took over the Phoenician coast and ships with some of his following becoming Vikings and Macedonians, while he with the main party crossed the Atlantic arriving to the Mayan and Olmec giants territory of Ameru (America) symbolized by a snake on a pole.

Upon defeating the Ute tribe in Utah / Judah and adopting Cherokee script mixed with Phoenician vocalization and Greek / Arabic vocabulary and grammar as their own language which they called Ivri / Ibri (Hebrew) after their own adopted name for themselves, nither being not original as such, as those who have crossed over, a name used by African natives to describe other peoples who have came over usually across a body of water, originally Euphrates, Jordan, Nile, Red and Mediterranean Seas, and Atlantic ocean.

So the story of Moses later written down in Babylon using Hebrew alphabet included in it elements of stories from Yucatan peninsula and Mayan Mesoamerica.

However the story of Moses being found in a reed basket by a royal family is a metaphor for having royal "blue" blood in ancient traditions of Mesopotamia, such as Sargon the Great of Akkad was also found in a reed basket. The reeds is reference to the sea of reeds where sun god Ra dwells according to Egyptian tradition which was very influential in the region.
