(SWC) How a Radio Program made me accurately predict my Future Relationship and my Son's Birth.

I am entering my story into the Supernatural Writing Contest by @jerrybanfield

I went to university in Leeds, a city in the North of England (about 3 hours from my London home).
During my 2nd year of study, I sometimes used to listen to a late-night supernatural radio program.
The host and invited guest would 'channel' messages for people that phoned-in.
I was so impressed at the accuracy and also by the fact that this indeed was possible.

At the end of the program they always suggested that people who are interested in this type of subject should check out their local ‘Spiritual Church”.

It didn't take me long to find out the local Spiritual Church in my university city and happy to see that it was a free (no cost) event.

The funny thing was that it was actually so close to where I was living. Walking distance ;)
I found out when the next service was going to be and put time aside to visit the place.

I can remember giggling to myself as I was approaching this Spiritual Church, mostly because of the name (spiritual church). I assumed it was going to be full of people like the woman who did the exorcism from the movie: Poltergeist.
Anyway, finally arrived and greeted by ‘regular’ people.

They were quite kind and I sat and watched their service.

I wasn't too keen on the fact that we had to sing hymns for Jesus as I don’t follow any religion, but I didn't really mind (as I was used to it from my school days).

But then came the part that I was waiting for; a demonstration of clairvoyance.
Sure enough, the person did amazingly.
I was very impressed at the way he went from person to person giving them messages from beyond.

Skipping forward a month, I was invited to be part of a ‘circle’ (study group) to learn the basics of clairvoyancy. I didnt achieve my own clairvoyant success, but I did gain a good understanding of what is expected to be done and loads of my questions answered.

Unfortunately my university assignments got the better of me and I had less and less free time available for attending the Spiritual Church.

PS: for anyone reading this, there are Spiritual Churches in almost every western country in most cities. In England they are literally everywhere! (just search online for your local spiritual church).

Anyway. Armed with a basic knowledge in how this works, I bought some books on the subject of spirituality and ended up getting interested in pretty much any esoteric subject.

After university I got into meditation and became vegetarian and went travelling.
How long was I travelling for ? 17 years !! Lol, (thats another story!)

During these travels I was always reading new books that I picked up along the way.
I started to find that my intuition was getting quite good and I used to attempt to channel.. I could hear the occasional voice in my head, but really it is hard to know if the voice is channelled or whether its ‘wishful thinking from within my own mind.

Now to the main part of my story:
Three years had passed since my first visit to that ‘Spiritual Church’ while I was at University.

I met a girl in Japan, (Tokyo to be exact), and we ended up dating.
Less than a month into our relationship I can clearly remember being in my room on my bed chatting (and drinking).
At some point during the night I felt like trying to ‘connect’ to spirit (in hope of some advice or message about my new girlfriend).
And, without much effort, (perhaps because I was relaxed from the glass of wine), I heard a voice within my head say the following:
“You will be together for 4 years and have a child. It will be a boy”.

Wow!! This was the first time I ever heard words with such clarity and the message was exact ! I just had to tell her!

So I did.
I told her that we will be together for 4 years and have a child together and its going to be a boy.

She said: “dont be stupid... Impossible” etc.

I mentioned this to her a few more times over the next month or two, and then it was forgotten.

We travelled to some new countries together,, and as the months went by, we became closer and closer.

Skipping forward, after 2 and three-quarter years she became pregnant. And, on her 2nd ultrasound visit, when we asked the sex of the baby, we were told its going to be a boy ;)

After our Son was born, we had been dating around 3 and a half years.
And finally; when my son was about 6 month old, we separated. (our 4th year!)

Me and her are still good friends, and we both share responsibility for our son, 50% / 50%. But, relationship-wise, we are not compatible. (another long story!).
If we move to a new city, we do it as a ‘team’ and we rent rooms always within a few minutes from each other (so that our son can easily go between both parents).

Me and her are both amazed how that ‘message;’ that I heard (all those years before) was 100% accurate.

I tried to replicate that event (from many years ago) in other situations during my life. But to be honest, the one that I have just explained to you was my best :)

As my son grew up, my parental responsibilities increased, as well as the fact that I ‘home-schooled’ him most of the time.

Of course I have never neglected this subject, but I have found that ‘being a dad’ and home-schooling my son really takes up a lot of time!
Its easy for life to pass by and get lazy aboit subjects that once interested me.
But, now he is 15 years old and he asked me if he can go to a ‘real’ school. So I found a pretty cool school for him suddenly I have found (for the first time in over a decade), I now have more free time on my hands.
A few random coincidences happened to me which have led me directly back to this subject again.
So, hopefully, after all these years, I can jump back in the seat again and continue with my personal development,

I’m hoping that I can develop this skill, and perhaps pass on helpful messages to people in need, or maybe prove to disbelievers that there is definitely something ‘more’ out there which can not be explained by these doubters.
In life there are so many people who are lost or at a junction in their own life and desperately asking for help which way to turn. Maybe I can help them in some way. **(see note below).

Some people are able to channel naturally (without need of instruction), and some people need to learn how to open themselves up to it.

Lets see where it goes from here ;)

** PS: I do want to say one thing. I went to various parts of America and I was very disappointed to see that this Channelling Business has been taken to the next level and monetized and how it has become a highly lucrative industry.
I can remember phoning up several different clairvoyants. They all have private secretaries tyaking appointments. Wating times are often 3 to 6 months! And fees range from $250 to $600 USD for an hour !!!
This, to me, is ‘milking’ the system, and being unfair.
When I was in South-East Asia (Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, etc), this skill is considered to be a privilege and is not a chargeable service. It is performed freely and when needed.

Of course, every person on this planet is entitled to a living and a salary. But I genuinely feel that in America, many of the clairvoyants are letting their greed get the better of them, which is a shame. And I also noticed that there are many amateur clairvoyants acting as if they are advanced professionals and charging the sky for their lack of talents, which ends up reflecting badly on the good clairvoyants. It makes the whole thing seem like a con business.
