Jeep Compass

The American automobile company Jeep has launched its all new car “Compass” in India. Compass is an extraordinary car in this segment. The Jeep Compass is the baby version of Grand Cherokee. Compass runs on Fiat’s 2-litre Multijet ll diesel engine developing 170bhp at 3,750rpm and 350 Nm between 1,750-2,500rpm. It has new typical vertically wide grille, high mounted headlamps and huge front bumper with out bash plate. It has squared wheel arches and a thick D-pillar to enjoy five seater SUV look. At the back, the tail clear lamp lens look sporty. Jeep Compass is thrilling and comfortable to drive.

Exterior

The Jeep Compass is a great premium soft-roader measures 4395 mm long, 1818 mm wide and 1640 mm tall. It has 2636 mm wheelbase. Compass rides on 16-inch alloy wheels. It is recognizable as a traditional Jeep because it has seven-slot grille. Some designs of the Compass are little bit similar to Cherokee’ designs like the clamshell hood with a dual brake line.

The Compass have some features such as bi-xenon projector headlamps, LED daytime running lamps and a two-tone body paint. At the rear, it has LED taillights which is slim and rectangular in shape. Compass looks special from all because of chrome strip that well over the window and drift around the car. The convex bonnet and the high stance add charm to this car.

Interior

exterior is fantastic therefore Jeep has given fantastic interior features. Compass comes with 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android connectivity and 6-speakers and a dual-zone climate control. There is an awesome metal gear knob which gives sporty look to Compass. The two toned cabin feels extra premium look. The rear seats are made up of comfortable cushion according to Indian market and headroom is also good. It also has a rear A/C vents.

For security Jeep has added 6 airbags, hill start assist, adaptive brake lights and cornering lights, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, hill hold and descent control.
