Japanese community account
@steemit-jp is a non-profit account to support the development of the Japanese community.
The Japanese community is still very small and the new users need support to figure out how Steemit.com works. With this in mind we have created @steemit-jp account as an aid for the Newbie Japanese users.
At the moment it is run by @yoshiko, @moromaro and @kinakomochi and @shogo, with the help of advisors @steemitjp and @rt395.
We are planning to recruit more users to provide support as the community keeps on growing.
The main activities of @steemit-jp are going to be the support of Newbie users, looking for delegations and the users interested to support the community.
Other activities include:
- Translation of SteemitUI, UX into Japanese.
- Operation of Steemit Japan official community website.
- Operation of the official Steemit Japan Twitter account.
- Organization of Meet-ups in Japan.
- Basic information on Steem and the white paper.
All the SP and SBD earned by this account is going to be used for the growth of the Japanese community, and all use of funds is going to be transparent to the public.
We hope to create a valuable account together with you. Thank you for your support.

We here in Niigata also have our own small but powerful SteemCityNiigata community.

Congrats for the initiative guys i hope more and more Japanese join Steemit. As a person who loves your culture and your people if i can help in any way let me know. I don't know Japanese ( i am currently learning) but i think i can greet newcomers if they post in English or in general support quality Japanese members!
