Noodle dishes have long been a popular part of Japanese cruise. One example is Udon, which is a thick white noodle made of wheat flour. While there are various histories of Udon, it is widely believed that it was imported from China more than a thousand years ago. The thickness of the noodle and cooking methods vary regionally across Japan, and it is also considered a rice substitute in the Japanese diet.

There are fast-food restaurants which serve Udon dishes across Japan. Udon may be served cold or hot, in a soy-saurce based soup with toppings, such as tempura, seaweed or eggs. It can be prepared at home, and is also available as a variety of instant noodles.

you can cook it at home!!
