RE: @steemit-jp #1コンテスト 好きな映画 「太陽がいっぱい」 ~ My favourite film 「Plein Soleil」
Let me have a guess at your japanese narrative. The film was adapted from from a novel in the 1960s. There were three series of the novel? You watched it on DVD, you borrowed it to be exact.
A murder, to kill the other half, and a fake ID?
You like the main character much and he did remarkably well playing a murderer? The film unveils the most ugliest, dark and filthy side of reality?
By the way, my all-time favourite is 'scent of a woman'
Two scenes stand out. One is Al Pacino tangoes with a lady
You are right, @prch. When I watched the film on TV more than 20 years ago, I got a crush on Alain Delon, then I borrowed DVD to watch it again. This post is for the contest of ''My favourite movie'' which was held by steemit-jp. I didn't have a time to translate my narrative into English as the contest's deadline was approaching. I was going to write a post re ''Love is Many-Splendored Thing'' that was one of my favourite films, too. You might know that that film came out in 1955, set in 1949-50 in Hong Kong. I couldn't make up my mind which one chose, but I have chosen ''Plein Soleil'' coz it would be more famous among Japanese old film fan.
Thank you for sharing your favourite film. I was aware that Al Pacino plays the role of the blind. He doesn't blink at all and his eyes look glassy. I've got interest in watching this! :D
