Tokyo Is One Gigantic Work Of Art
I swear Tokyo is one gigantic work of art. Everyone trying to leave their creative mark on society. I really mean this too. Everywhere you go there is something new and interesting to see. Every single restaurant and small shop has gone out of their way to make you feel like you are entering a unique place. In contrast to America where 99% of the businesses are cookie cutter places.
Many people have said the reason Japan is so creative is because during their youth Japanese are forced to conform, especially at school. Then, after finishing school they explode with all that pent up creativity. Everyone wants to show they are an individual in the system. It's an interesting thought. Or, maybe creativity is just in the Japanese DNA.
