Japanese capsule hotel and onsen possibly haunted haha.
It was a little daunting walking down the corridors of pod-like sleeping capsules. It felt eery and there was a sense of quiet I was not expecting. There didn't seem to be any other humans around but I found my bed and crept inside.
I am pretty sure it was just me and the ghosts! This onsen and capsule hotel is really old and famous in Umeda, Osaka. It is called Daitoyo onsen and has many floors separated for men and women. You can relax in massage chairs, or get a real massage, take many types of baths ( no cameras in there obviously!), watch TV, smoke or just go straight to bed.
It was late and I have no idea what the instructions were for. Probably to set alarms, temperature and watch TV.
Pretty cool to have a mini TV in the pod! If It wasn't so late I might have watched a little
Not for the claustrophobic or faint hearted! It seems small but you don't notice once you close your eyes hehe.
Perhaps I will stay in more interesting places and try and get better pictures and not check in at 4am. Thanks for reading!
