A stressful little piece I’ve been keeping a secret

It was a normal Sunday afternoon, I was texting my cousin on Snapchat and being a goofball and sentimental when she randomly asked me if I knew about my mom.... when I told her I had no idea what she was talking about, she gave me her mom’s number..

Afterwards, I ran up to my room and called my baby sister from her daddy’s phone..

I wasn’t a priority to tell... her own daughter.

After calling Izzy, I was in tears. This is what I was told:

Chris and my mother were arguing after mom had a day in the bar. The argument heightened and mom pulled out a machete. Chris was yelling and Izzy came in. My ten year old sister stepped between her parents and a machete. She tried grabbing it from my mother and screamed “you’re not killing my daddy”....... this is what happened to her.

Isabella did not cry, she simply tapped her daddy’s shoulder and suggested he takes her to the hospital. I swear that child is more bad ass than anyone else on Earth.

I have not spoken to my mother, all I know is her court date is in mid February and I will be upset for a while.

Isabella is okay, our brother is too. They are both in therapy and living a peaceful life now.

I don’t know why I’m sharing this but, I’m hoping it helps to write it.
