Jamaica is an equivocal island
That said, Jamaica is also an island full of natural charms and areas where you can get lost, be happy and not want to return. You just have to know how to find them.
There are also mountains. The highest altitude is reached in the Blue Mountains, one of the highest mountain ranges in the Caribbean, the backbone of Jamaica, on whose terraced terraces one of the most expensive and prized cafes in the world is produced. From the 2,253 meters of its summit to the bottom of the valleys, various ecological floors are developed through which coffee plantations, cedars, bananas, majaguas, rose sticks, coconut palm trees, pepper shakers and breadfruit trees are deployed. Always wrapped in fog and sticky heat.
Amy Winehouse's recording studio
Jamaica is a perfect size to go through in a week, without stress. At the other end of the island, on the northeast coast, is the quiet coastal town of Port Antonio. Here is one of the most exclusive and charismatic hotels in Jamaica, the Geejam Hotel. A super boutique hotel with its own recording studio used by the spoiled Amy Winehouse, among many other celebrities. It has five types of independent villas with all kinds of luxuries and surrounded by the most exuberant nature of the island. A Hollywood whim for those who can pay the $ 625 per night that costs the cheapest villa in high season. About five kilometers east of Port Antonio, stop at Frenchman’s Cove, for many the most beautiful beach in Jamaica. A little further, Blue Lagoon Beach, another exceptional sandy beach with crystal clear waters. Both are private (something very common in Jamaica), but those not staying in the hotels to which they belong can also access them paying a fee of about 5 dollars.
Have you ever been to Kingston or Ocho Rios?
Well, no, but all I put is what I am reading there and there, and I draw my own conclusions, which are probably right or maybe not.
@crypticat tu eres español??
I don't speak Spanish and You shouldn't be posting stuff like this
You haven't been to these places, it is incredibly insulting. I don't think Jamaica is particularly dangerous except in specific areas like any large city in the Americas. I am sure millions of people go out in these cities after dark and comments like these don't win you any friends here.
Looks like Spanish Speaking Cities dominate the list for Murder problems, USA also has serious homicide rates.
Well, I apologize for my opinion, but it is only an opinion, and as you do right now, it tells me that I am wrong, and I accept it and I apologize for it. and right now I edit and delete it
