An outburst of heartfelt thanks (Thanksgiving challenge, Day 5)
Sometimes, you do not know how privileged you are until you see people living without those things you consider as a norm.
Today I had one of such "eye opening" episodes and it has helped in redefining some of my perspectives.
Good evening everyone and welcome to my blog. Hope you day was as enlightening as mine?
This post would be my 5th entry for the #thanksgiving challenge started by @ponmile and so far, it has helped me acknowledge the fact that Jehovah has indeed been good to me.
So on this day, I am thankful for:
My growth on steemit: I woke up this morning to a reputation score of 48 and quite strangely, I felt proud of myself. I know a reputation score of 48 isn't what one would call a "milestone", but to me, it's a "small victory" and the "small victories" make the "big victories". So, let's have a drink to my reputation score of 48. Cheers!
A good roof over my head: The "eye-opening" episode I experienced earlier today, made me very appreciative of this.
For the Thanksgiving Challenge: This challenge has made me aware of the "little miracles" I usually take for granted and reminds me to be thankful for them.
Rules of the challenge
Make a post, for seven days, about 3 things you are thankful for, and nominate some friends to join the challenge while at it.
I nominate @turpsy and @otemzi to join the challenge.
@jeline nominated me.
Thank you for reading.
