RE: Al MWC i nuovi Galaxy S9 ed S9+, gli ultimi della serie S? - Galaxy S9 and S9+ from MWC, last S series phones? [ITA/ENG]
A new Samsung phone interesting. I see that they still haven't learned their lesson with the fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy S9 it stills seems to be located too close to the rear camera. Also seems like it is still too small for a finger.
Which creates an uncomfortable feeling when unlocking the device. The rounded design that Huawei is using is so much more user friendly. It seems to be a little better than what they used on Galaxy S8 when it was located on the side.
Bluetooth 5.0 on the other hand is really good. Hope it works better when using wireless earphone alternatives. Since for me Bluetooth 4.2 was still not that stable in terms of performance.
With the naming structure of their phones it probably would be wise to switch to something else since it will start to sound a bit silly if they go on much longer with the current format. S10, S11 and S12 not so sure if that will be good marketing names. A new letter clearly is what's needed.
It's very fun to see all these companies copy each other in every single category. I guess it becomes harder to be an original in the future when people already have done everything. It's more about who can use the best grace when they are remixing stuff into something that will be marketed as brand new.
Fingerprint scanner have to be tried. When S9 will be on sale I'll go to a store and I'll try the phone.
I don't know if Bluetooth 5.0 is good because I stuck with Bluetooth 4.0 on my S5! Ahahah! And I don't even have wireless earphone. I don't like them.
I think the only thing that will be an original success is flexible display. Did you see ZTE Axon M? Not bad!
Yes go try that and let me know when it's available.
Very impressive that the Galaxy S5 still works so well. My Galaxy S6 started to go bad pretty fast. But my S6 Edge is still holding up extremely well in performance. Those wireless earphones looks really goofy especially Apple's white edition. Not sure if I want to be seen in public wearing those. I also have a bit of a dislike relationship currently with Bluetooth earphones. A bit resistant towards new stuff. Perhaps I'm getting old haha.
Will dive deeper today searching for what's going on in the phone world. Seeing that there is lots of new excitement in that niche because of MWC! Will get my presearch action up to speed and search the new phones in there so I could earn some PRE at the same time. But from a quick look at gsmarena the ZTE Axon M looks extremely impressive. Nice with some new thinking concepts!
Btw if you ever use a computer then you could follow @steemplayroom every hour they run a fun little game you could join in on and if you win you earn some Steem. Nice to see gaming being implemented with some new creative apps. Hope Mario Kart and Mario Party gets added in the future. Would improve the social aspect!
Yeah, my Galaxy S5 works still pretty well. I don't complain.
Airpods are ugly. STOP! Ahahahah
Wow! I didn't know this account! I'll follow @steemplayroom . I've enjoyed Agar.io in the past so I can give a chance!
A question for you: I signed up into Presearch after your post on Steemit, ok. If I want to convert tokens into other cryptocurrencies how can I do? Am I so newbie that I don't see the functionality?
Yes I don't see it either at the moment. I found this post that talked about that the search engine would be ready in 12-18 months.
Very exciting area clearly since Google has such a monopoly. Just imagine decentralized search. On coinmarketcap they list that in total 1 billion PRE tokens will exist and it's an Ethereum ERC20 token. That is 47x the amount of Bitcoin and if we take $10,000 Bitcoin value split it by 47 we get $212 per coin so who knows how high this eventually could go haha!
If it would follow the exact same trend as Bitcoin which it probably won't but fun to speculate then it would be $212 per each PRE. 8 PRE tokens per day = $1696. I'm probably wrong but crazier things have happened. Going to hold as many as possible. I don't see search going away anytime soon!
You're right. Thanks for the info!
