SEMPLICEMENTE SOFY

Oggi vi presento la mia cucciola di Labrador:Sofy

Sofy è una cicciotta di 35 kg, ha 12 anni, color miele dagli occhi dolcissimi. Nonostante la sua età un po' avanzata, lei è la solita giocherellona di sempre, affettuosa, pronta sempre a saltarmi addosso per abbracciarsi a me.

Amante della bella stagione come me, le piacciono gli spazi aperti e verdi ma soprattutto ama il mare, non perdiamo occasione di scendere in spiaggia ogni qualvolta possiamo.

Con la mia piccola Sofy siamo cresciute insieme, verso di lei ho sviluppato un forte senso di protezione, lei è la mia amica, la mia cucciola, la mia bimba. Sofy rispecchia perfettamente le caratteristiche fisiche che caratteriali della razza.
Il Labrador è amato per il suo carattere docile e socievole, intelligentissimo, predisposto all' apprendimento; vengono addestrati per tantissime attività: eccellente nuotatore, impiegato nella caccia, ottimo assistente per i non vedenti e grazie al suo fiuto eccezionale viene impiegato dalle forze dell' ordine e dalla protezione civile.

Cane di compagnia, amico dei bambini, giocherellone vivace, non ama una vita sedentaria.

Discende dal cane ST JOHN, il quale veniva utilizzato dai pescatori dell' Isola di Terranova e la Penisola del Labrador per la presa delle reti o degli utensili caduti in mare durante la pesca.
I Labrador sono cani di media stazza, peso e altezza variano in base al sesso: i maschi arrivano fino a circa 60 cm per un massimo di 40 kg, le femmine si fermano intorno a una trentina di kg. Gli occhi sono marroni o nocciola, le orecchie a forma triangolare e pendono, il petto è piuttosto largo, il pelo si presenta piuttosto duro e spesso; i suoi colori vanno da un crema ad un marrone medio fino a uno più scuro per arrivare ad un nero intenso, ma in qualunque caso il colore sarà unico.

Godono di ottima salute, hanno una prospettiva di vita che va dai 12 ai 15 anni, in vecchiaia possono soffrire d'artrosi, tendono all'obesità per questo bisogna far attenzione all'alimentazione e tenerli attivi più possibile.

Lover of the beautiful season like me, she likes open spaces and green but especially loves the sea, do not miss the chance to get off the beach whenever we can.
With my little Sofy we grew up together, towards her I developed a strong sense of protection, she is my friend, my puppy, my baby. Sofy perfectly reflects the physical characteristics of the breed.
The Labrador is loved for his docile and sociable character, very intelligent, predisposed to learning; are trained for many activities: excellent swimmer, employed in hunting, excellent assistant for the blind and thanks to his exceptional flair is used by the forces of 'order and civil protection.
A company dog, a child's friend, a lively little girl, he does not like a sedentary life.

It comes from the dog ST JOHN, which was used by the fishermen of the Island of Terranova and the Labrador peninsula to catch the nets or tools that fell into the sea during fishing.
