RESPECT OUR CULTURAL OUTFIT

in #isiagu7 years ago

"Isi agu" (lion's head) clothing......
But honestly this "isiagu"clothing is gradually turning into another GUCCI, just like MTN(Everywhere you go....). Nothing pisses me like seeing the "akuruaku" ehhh
But my worry is this one ladies are almost turning it into undies,What happened?
Before now, I rarely see this isiagu oo unless during a festive period like our superb ila Oso Uzuakoli,New yam festival, during coronation, chieftancy titles or other Important ceremonies, I can't even remember Dad putting on that cloth anyhow...(One of the reasons why it was expensive, Rare and Unique)
But seriously there's no difference between a lady wearing isi agu and another putting on the red cap for titled men
It is now in vogue, what's happening please ,what's happening to our Moral Standard,Is this not part of the moral decadence nah? I won't even be surprised seeing other tribes putting on this "second Gucci"
What is actually wrong with the igbo tribe that some ladies cannot keep and have fears for long instituted traditions.
When it comes to African Culture,I think civilization has its limit, We no longer have respect for Culture and Traditions.
And Someone said that Cultural degrading comes from women and being backed up with "tolerating men"all in the name of it doesn't matter (100%True)
Conclusively,I still think that no matter how cheap it is,it's not just meant for women!!
Umu igbo bikonu, let's uphold our Unique Culture and traditions.attached below is an image of a lady on the traditional ISI AGU attire!
Say no to traditional violation!
Say no to moral decadence!!FB_IMG_1515589001423.jpg
