Preparation is essential for any storm; but, having a jar marked hurricane fund, to be able to flee, in cases like Irma, might be the best thing to prepare for.
I love the globes. Are they purely decorative?
And, the ducks waiting for the big swim are too cute!

Luckily we are far enough inland it would take a storm unlike anything anyone has ever seen for us to need to evacuate! Mine are purely decorative but in Japan they are still used for fishing by many fisherman. Some have moved on to the modern plastic ones though! Thanks for reading :)
