iPhoneX Price £999/$999.. WHAT!?

First of all I would like to make it clear that there are many things I like about the iPhone X.

1. The screen to body ratio is top notch, the display looks fantastic.
2. The implementation of wireless charging. Well done Tim, you've finally caught up to 2013 and the Nexus 5, plus numerous other devices before this. (This just happened to be the first device I owned with wireless charging. )
3. Face recognition looks to be very secure and this will push the rest of the market forward into updating their own face recognition software. CoughSamsungCough
4. The camera. As always Apple seems to do well on this front.

However as a Brit I am genuinely disgusted by the price that we would be forced to fork out, should we wish to purchase one. On Apple.com, the US site, the 64GB variant is priced at a high but not completely gut wrenching $999. This is a lot of money and at the current exchange rate is £751 there or thereabouts. HOWEVER Apple, and the thieving Tim Cook have set the price of the iPhone in the UK at... £999!!! WHAT THE HELL.

I understand that the UK is a smaller market and therefore imports are more expensive than the US, I understand that Brexit has caused uncertainty and therefore businesses are more wary of doing trade over here, I understand that Brexit has decreased the pound's value somewhat. BUT THIS IS AN OUTRAGE. I would understand if were were being charged something around the £800 figure due to costs of currency exchange, uncertainty in the market yada yada but THIS, this is too far. I am honestly disgusted.

As you may be able to tell I am slighly peeved off by this all and find it completely unfair as to how much the British consumer is being screwed by Tim Cook and Apple. I bid you all a good day.
