Why You Should Be Interested In IPBC
What Is IPBC?
IPBC stands for Interplanetary Broadcast Coin. It's a mineable coin based on the CryptoNight algorithm.
They're basically a blockchain based YouTube where content creators get paid by the viewers. This is because as the viewer watches the content, their computing power mines coins using their CPU. These coins are then awarded to the content creator for posting original content.
Working Product?
What's interesting about this coin to me is that they already have a working product. We all know how many coins there are out there that don't even have a working product yet. Not only do they pay content creators, and have a working product, but because of the way the platform is setup they don't run any ads! And it's completely free to use!
Here's a quote from their CEO, Saber Maram:
"We simply wanted to create the ideal content platform. It would be offered free to end users with no ads while not compromising your private data by selling it to third parties either. In addition, we hoped to address issues like digital piracy by creating an ecosystem where the original creators can actually get paid every time their content is viewed."
Like I said before, it's like blockchain based YouTube, but the best part? No censorship! They have a decentralized data storing model that prevents censorship and manipulation of user content. It's kinda like YouTube and Steemit had a baby. Except better.
Competition
There are a few competitors for IPBC, but none of them seem to stand a chance at the moment because they either don't have a working product, they require users to pay for the content, or they do not offer a truly fair rewarding objective system like IPBC, where only the number of visitors and viewing time determines the reward for the content publisher.
