The biggest thing that drew me to IOTA was the departure from the standard blockchain. I love the idea of the machine interoperability and the thousands of possible use cases that all have real life uses beyond that of transferring value that can all be implemented today, and not 5 years into the future. I firmly believe IOTA has the best overall promise of any cryptocurrency I've ever considered purchasing, and seeing the rate of development i also believe that it will deliver.

Thank you for posting this! Not only is it a great representation of the awesome community that IOTA has, but introduced me to steemit as well!
The potential for this revolutionary tech is UNREAL! I am a fairly long time crypto user/investor, and I was introduced to IOTA after seeing a bot that was tipping people micro amounts.
For anyone that is even vaguely familiar with exorbitant fees to use BTC, you can understand my surprise. (How can a fraction of a penny be sent across the world INSTANTLY, with NO FEE?!?!) I had to do more research to learn more about this innovative tech The Tangle.
I am still in my initial stages of investing/learning about the tech, but I am in full force promoting and spreading the good word through my circles! I particularly like the idea of utilizing a bot to tip people across internet forums such as Reddit, to gain awareness organically. Similar to what drew me in to IOTA (even though i was browsing the IOTA sub) can happen across any forum/sub. Soon, I can picture a world where 'tips' are given frequently, possibly even becoming a 'fad' (that sticks) if you will. In turn sending the interest and popularity of IOTA through the roof!
Again, thanks for being so generous with this post, and thank you for introducing me to steemit!
I think that the fee-less design will really open up the use of micro and nano transactions, something which is largely prevented in other cryptocurrencies because of the insanely large transaction fees. Although small payments by themselves do not look very substantial, they very quickly add up and I'm sure the market for a ledger that can handle these sorts of transactions is huge. Definitely going to keep an eye on this one.

I like the fact that IOTA is a new crypto based completely seperate of blockchain. I also enjoy the fact that it is a platform project that will most likely be the baseline for all Internet of things product.

so many flooding market its hard to say what will make it.
Explain :-)
what will crash or what will stay around.
I have found that the whole cryptocurrency space is facinating. I got started when I first learned about the IOT. My first investment into the tech was a IRA that I set up with Motif Investing. Global X ETFs. Then I found altcoins and was wondering about how it was all going to play into the IOT. Then I found IOTA. The concept is awesome and given how big the IOT will be, I think it will be a great long term investment. I listened to the interview with David Sonstebo, one of the creators, who went into great detail about the coin. if you want to listen for yourself you can click here:
Enjoy!
Still kinda new to the Steemit world but so far I think its pretty cool. As a matter of fact the cryptocurrency space as a whole is pretty awesome.
Was looking to invest in tech stock ETFs with Motif Investing. Through my research, I found the IOT. I was reading about HP's "The Machine" (Really cool by the way!) when I stumbled upon it. Was looking into the other altcoins and wondered where crypto fit into the IOT. That is when I found IOTA . I listened to the interview posted above with David Sonstebo and decided it was time to jump in. IOTA is going to be a great long term investment given that the IOT is going to be 100 times bigger than the Internet that we all know and love. The scalability of IOTA is going to make if hard to compete with in the machine to machine micropayment space.
Thanks for the generous post. I will help in anyway I can.

Nice article
Remember to resteem and share the post, we need 10 comments to even get the tokens out. :) I'm doing this to promote IOTA.
Done: upvoted, resteemed and the thing I like about the whole IOTA technology idea the most is that IOTA tangles are able to operate even offline. So, I guess, if there is no ellectricity you can still count on your IOTA. among aother things, ofcourse, no fees, high security and creating a world of smart machines that serve to make humanity great again.
Thank you!

I love IOTA because I think it is going to change the world and the way we interact with everything, it fits in perfectly with Ray Kurzweil's, strong AI/ Singularity hypothesis, a world where we transcend our biology, I believe soon everything we interact with will become intelligent.
I think it's most important function is ultimately the security layer on what it can provide, it will make our information secure in a way where people are afraid the internet of things will allow our governments unprecedented access to our lives, in reality with the security of the tangle, they simply won't have that access.
IOTA will help bring the entire world to life, even the most inanimate objects.
