IOTA is AWFUL
Hi Gang,
Just wanted to say, if you're thinking of jumping into crypto, don't go near IOTA. I was all for IOTA in August / September. I bought in at 80 something cents. Between the hackability issue, the Microsoft issue and fake 0 balance on your wallet I decided to sell into something more functioning.
Before I can sell I have to transfer my IOTA from my wallet to Binance and I've been waiting TWO DAYS and it still hasn't gone through. :/
When I go to https://thetangle.org/live to see the transfers that are going though, there's a strange mix of transfers from today and from two days ago, and occasically transfers from December 31st (It's Jan 6th right now). Please god let me take my iota out before Cardano does another moonshot.
Sorry if you're an IOTA hodler. This must be like nails on a chalkboard to hear. If you're still hodling, let me know why. Maybe it can give me a bit of faith to hodl on.
They must get their wallet issues addressed if they want to succeed. The idea of IOTA and the Tangle network is great, but the execution is not.
Check here (https://github.com/iotaledger/wallet/issues) to see the development status of their wallet; specifically the issues with it. Once these have been solved, and the wallet is stable, then maybe it will gain more adoption.

Iota is reall great. Extremely good idea and good team but they have a lot of problems which should be solved. And yeah, their wallet definitely needs to be more user friendly.
However, you need not to wait that long for your withdrawal to be confirmed. There are some tricks to fasten the whole progress - but if you got bad luck you still could have to wait a few hours.
All in all, iota is a nice project. I hold iota and will hold it. Hopefully they solve the problems asap.

I had a read of your wallet transaction fixes. I really don't like the idea of rejigging my wallet transfer things when I've a few k on the line. If I'm still waiting tomorrow i'll give your tweaks a go. Cheers.
