It is a real massacre out there but remember that ...

  • the technology is still the same as one week ago;
  • there will be bargains out there. If you do believe in the cryptomarket and only jumped the wagon, this could be the time to decrease the average book price of your coins
  • that you would have bought a coin a week ago at price X, well not the price is only a % of X, so why won't you buy it now?
  • if you sell with a loss you will probably enrich somebody else!
  • we are still early investors!
  • we have been here before and came back!
  • you should keep on being active on the Steem platform! Lots of people will do stop with interacting or posting, but the reward pool will still be the same. These are the moments that you can make yourself visible! You will not regret it later on (and if it appears to be bubble than probably you still will have made some friends!

But hold your horses!

The most difficult thing to do, is to buy the deepest dip! I have tried it before and failed at it before.
It is better to spread your dry powder over several days/weeks. There is no use to spend it all now!
But because tomorrow the bargains can even be cheaper!
So at this moment only invest in the coins where you really believe in but do it phases!

Keep the faith,
Peter

I have finished my NEO purchase and now I am buying STEEM...

Well that is according to me an excellent decision!
You can't go wrong with Steem!

Exactly what i’ve been saying, fundamentals for btc have never been better. Silly to get shaken out by price action

That is so true, but if we take a look at the Market today, there are still lots of afraid hands!

I almost bought the dip once with ETC. In February, I guess, bought it at 14.7 and it went down to 13.9, but I wasn't inspired to sell it at 40. I still expected it to go at about 70 since it had its hard fork coming, but the market wasn't strong enough so I sold it at 32. Some profit, but not the max...

Still some great profit. Letting coins go is the hardest part for me.
Still trying to chase the dips :)

Those who want to know more about buying, but spreading the buy out over time should research "dollar cost averaging"; or even better: "value averaging".

Personally I like to try to time the market and call the dip. I bought last night and again today...

Thats what I did mean with bringing down the average book price! Thanks that I now know the official term 😁

Yeah I though as much 😉 Just wanted to give your readers something solid to Google.

When there's blood there's opportunities! Only the strong hands prevail. Strong hands hold because they believe in the long term.

It's hard to find a specific price to buy. Fundamental analysis doesn't really apply to crypto currencies. A general guide could be tracking updates on development and partnerships. Another could be comparing the market caps of companies in the same field. Then again, even 'similar' companies are different in certain aspects of their methods, target audience, etc.

In this context, technical analysis (ie. waiting for the pull back at areas of support, trend lines, etc.) may come in handy. After all, human psychology does affect how we react to sudden price changes, and all these are captured in the price charts.

Indeed correct. In my opinion that market is still ruled by sentiments. While this is also true for the stock markets, it for sure is for the cryptomarket!
Decided 2 buy some more Neo and BTC.
The idea is to sell half of them back when it has increased enough!
This way my holdings are strengthened and I still have a chance to withdraw some investments!

I still try to be active here and interact as much as i can. My time and energy are lost easily lol!

I know how it feels. I am also always running out of time and steem power!
Interaction is all that matters to me!
