Interview with David Cohen, CEO of CLOUT.IO
I am excited to share this interview with David Cohen who is the CEO of the CLOUT network that is also currently running a crowdsale.
Currently clout has actually a PRE-SALE ongoing with a minimum investment of 10 ETH or 1 BTC and I wanted to learn a bit more about the project so that folks who are thinking about investing into the ICO can get some background.
How does it compare to steem?
As an investor in steem I am always interested in other projects that are active in the social media space. Like steem, clout.io will be a social blockchain application but attacking the space from a very different perspective: It wants to focus on the cryptocurrency market and thus be social media community focused on the interaction of blockchains and crypto coins.
Architecturally it will also be very different and not store its data on a blockchain like steem. Like steem the purpose is the discover quality content, however clout wants to make sure that influence cannot be bought like on steem.
Mission, Solutions, Architecture, Token structure
In the interview we cover the problem clout wants to solve, the solution Davids team is building and talk about the architecture and how the new blockchain technology will be used to get to what clout wants to achieve. Like steem clout will be using several tokens to achieve different utilities.

Clout looks interesting in terms of unique features like influence cannot be bought but I think Steemit has very efficient working model. There are other sites like this for content authoring for example yours.org but not so interesting because they use BCC.
