I'm finding this from way back so don't know if you're still reading comments on it, but just want to take a moment to express my appreciation for your sharing your story.

I too had many "near misses" in starting with crypto, for me going all the way back to Dec. 2009. I'd actually started mining BTC, but didn't know enough to realize it was working and just taking many hours to get the sync done! So I quit.

Then a year ago was on the verge of buying ETH at $12, but decided not to just at the point where all I had to do was complete the bank wire.

This time I've really gone "all in" in the sense that I fully intend to be involved in this industry. I'm starting much later than I could have, later than many, but know I'm still so many months and years ahead of where most will begin.
