RE: My Steem Story and Crypto Investing Day 1

in #investment7 years ago

I am not long into crypto, too, and I left out some of your experiences. I somehow read too many warnings about mining contracts, so I decided not to try it. But I bought Bitcoin and still hold it without regret. With Steemit, I started just in December and put nothing into it than my little efforts - I still have not decided how I want to use the platform.

I know by now how I probably could get the most rewards out of the system, but I do not really see myself as an author in a journalist way. I love to blog in a more short form sharing bits of my daily life - this is called low effort posts here.

I feel, in this community where you see bots (for the good and for the bad) almost everywhere, that I want to be authentic and human and this means I won't go up with my Steem Power quickly. I enjoy commenting very much, and I have to say - with all the authors here and the feeling that there are barely any readers when you're not a whale or at least a dolphin, I think I really contribute to Steemit in my very own way. I do not count the minutes until I reply to a post. I just write what I think in a hopefully encouraging and polite style.

Of course I hope to make 20 bucks a day with all my distributed efforts in a couple of years, because I will not be able to do my day job, though I love it, forever (it is physically exhausting) :)

I am not much of an author either. I use my Steem power to upvote authors I like and resteem. I earn curation rewards. I suppose I would have a larger effect if I blogged more frequently. This post was inspired by my brother-in-law asking me about how I got from point a to point b.
