The market showed a lot of resilience disappointing traders who thought the sept 30 closure of some Chinese exchanges will harm the market. The market recorded steady growth, declining only once this week and peaked above the $150Billion mark an improvement from the previous week's $141Billion. The market grew by an impressive 13.97% in the last 7 days gaining a $18.405Billion to close (GMT+9) at $150.137Billion. Total volume traded in the last 7 days was $23.149Billion a 2.78% week on week increase. While in the last 24Hr the market grew by 2.25% gaining $3.304Billion and volume traded was $2.976Billion a 4.53% increase from the previous day. A total of 1146 cryptocurrencies and 5675 market pairs were traded. Bitcoin's market dominance increased from 47.6% to 49.2% of the total market cap in the last 7 days.

In course of the week, our biggest gainer was NEO gaining a massive 77.55%, moved up two spots to No.8 pushing IOTA and XMR down one spot each to No.9 and 10 respectively. Also XRP reclaimed its No.3 spot swapping spots with BCH, while DASH recorded the biggest loss of 6.46% as others retained their spots. The top Ten cryptos combined market cap grew by 12.66% in 7 days to close at $129.508Billion, while OTHERS also grew by 22.99% in the last 7 days to close at $20.629Billion outperforming the market.

Good point. I was afraid the Chinese 'crack-down' on exchanges would permanently negatively affect the BTC price, but it has rebounded nicely!
