CRYPTO-DAILY THE MKT IN NUMBERS: WEEKEND STARTER MKT LOSES $4.85B (FRIDAY 14/7/17)#0006
Market Overview.
The market started the weekend expectedly on a bearish note losing $4.85B a decline of 5.74% of market cap to close(GMT+1) at $79.659B, volume traded was $2.803B a decline of 12.33%, I expect this decline to continue into Saturday with a respite by Sunday and maybe a pull back. I noticed unlike the previous weekend there is little or no hedging activity, investors funds are leaving the market as we can see spikes in crypto/fiat pairs with attendant negative impact on the market cap.
A total of 811 cryptocurrencies, 162 Assets, and 4,506 market pairs were traded. Bitcoin's market dominance increased negligibly to 46.2% of the total market cap.

BitConnect BCC retains its No.10 spot despite an all RED top 10 board, however Monero XMR switched places with IOTA our biggest loser on the board (-18.09%) despite losing 7.12% itself, while the rest of the board remained unchanged. The top Ten cryptos combined market cap declined by 5.14% to close at $70.372B controlling 88.34% of the total market capitalization an increase from the previous day's 87.8%.

Welcome Bancor BNT our new entrant to the top 10 by volume board, with a 231% leap in trading volume landed on the No.7 spot tossing EOS down to No.9 on the board. While FirstBlood 1ST still remaining on the board (surprised?) moved up one step to No.8 knocking BitShares BTS all the way down to No.10. I observed the rise of Bancor BNT was influenced by the BNT/ETH pair trading on BNT Smart Token Contract exchange. XRP recorded the most decline of 57.31% a surprising reversal of investors attention from the previous day's trading when it enjoyed the most attention from investors though mostly from China. Our top 10's combined volume was $2.525B a massive 90% of total volume traded a negligible increase from previous day.
