CRYPTO-DAILY THE MKT IN NUMBERS: MARKET SOARS AMIDST BITCOIN'S CIVIL WAR #0009
Market Overview.
The market continues its upswing in the midst of the Bitcoin civil war as reported in an HuffingtonPost article (see link below), the market rose another 7.71% gaining $6.06B to close (GMT+1) at $84.565B. Trading volumes rose sharply by 35.61% to $5.876B indicating an increasing confidence in the market and a sign of returning investors as this reflected positive growth in the market. I expect a slowdown today and probably some profit taking from tomorrow, the question is can the market sustain this tempo? A total of 810 cryptocurrencies, 174 Assets, and 4,579 market pairs were traded. Bitcoin's market dominance further decreased by 1.7% to 44.7% of the total market cap.

Once again we have an all positive board two days in a row shows the bulls are in charge, Ethereum ETH made the biggest gain of 18.52% and LiteCoin had the least growth (2.51%) on the board. All coins on the board held on to their positions there were no movements, however, I noticed the slowing down in growth across the board but I am not sure if growth has peaked, I will look out for a confirmation today. The top Ten cryptos combined market cap rose by 7.74% to close at $74.203B controlling 87.75% of the total market capitalization a negligible rise from previous day's 87.72%, while the remaining cryptos retain 12.25%.

Yesterday we saw a spike in market volume a 35.61% rise with a net positive effect in the market although only 7.71% growth, however not all on our board had positive volume growth they were all positively impacted market cap wise. No new entrants to board although we recorded a swap in position between Bitshares BTS(highest vol growth 46.74%) and EOS where Bitshares BTS claimed the No.7 spot, the rest of the board held on tenaciously to their positions. Ethereum ETH was the darling of the market having $2.666B worth of investors attention (45.39% of total market volume) this reflected richly in its market cap as the biggest gainer on the top 10 board by market cap. Observing the board, the dominant pairs are torn between CNY and KRW pairs the Asians are firmly in control of this bull run. Our top 10's combined volume was $5.613B a massive 95.54% of total volume traded an increase from previous day's 94.33% leaving the remaining cryptos with 4.46% of investors attention.

We saw an increase in volumes across exchanges with Poloniex and Okcoin experiencing as high as 54% and 52% increase respectively. A very profitable day for the exchanges I must say.
