The sad thing is that many people tend to neglect themselves as they see materialistic things as more important, even though investing in yourself is the most important factor to a bright and happy future! 

Unlike many other investments out there you can see an immediate return on them. For example, when you need that new jacket to keep you warm, you see an immediate return. Well of course this is a small example but it portrays the point.  So there is really no risk in investing in yourself, you are in full control and it can only benefit your life for the better. Have you ever invested in that extra few hours of sleep, and felt so much better the next morning?
Investing in yourself is not a selfish act. It is for the better, and you will only benefit.

Your education certainly doesn't have to stop at college. Learning new skills can help you discover new passions, interests in life and keep your resume fresh. Take a class in a field that interests you, like writing or painting, and take full advantage of the situations surrounding you. You'll be surprised how much fun you will have in the process. 

2. Invest in your health:

Exercise, proper eating and the way you live your life are a huge important factor to investing in yourself. You will reap so many wonderful returns for the small amount of effort you put in (or big). This could start by changing something as little as your diet, or go all the way with joining that new kickboxing class down the road. Whatever you choose to do, you will enjoy every minute and benefit!! 

3. Invest in your future: 

The most beneficial way of investing in yourself is to think about your future. When you think about your future, what do you see? A huge bank account waiting for you?
The most likely answer is no, but that can change starting today! Just think about investing little bit by little bit and you will be surprised at to how fast it adds up! You will love yourself for doing it in the future!
