Don't encourage identity theft by up-voting introduction posts without solid evidence of ownership
If we just upvote #introduceyourself posts without validating the identity of the poster we will encourage people to create fake introduction posts or to steal other peoples identity to earn a quick buck. Let's stop that. Make sure there is good evidence in the form of images or video showing the username and some reference to steemit before upvoting.

This is why I can't do an introduce yourself post. I refuse to post photos of myself on the internet. Heck I don't even have any after 1999.
