A Hopeful Rissa- Introduce Myself

For someone who has a lot on their mind, the words are hidden under my ego. I desperately want to uncover the voice. Sing, yell, maybe dance a little.

You can feel yourself there and yet another mind seems to speak out without turn.

Stop.

My name is Marissa Palacios, I am a 25 year old woman. I love the way my nose tickles when when I step outside and smell the dew on the grass. I remember calling the little drops of water "snow" because of the whiteness it projected out to me.

I love it when my girls wake up. They open their eyes and don't waste a minute. Sit up and say, " Good morning mom! I am ready for breakfast."

I love to read a nice book and get so invited in, all of the world seems to disappear. You begin to lucid read in a reality that is no longer existent.

I love to watch movies and decipher every detail you can possibly think of, just to make it interesting. I love the how simple things like a fork, a bottle cap, and a feather, could make two little girls have 3 full hours of adventure time.

I love animals, they speak to me with their eyes. I understand them better than people. Even bugs too!!
I love how the sun warms my house when I draw back the curtains during the winter. I love listening to movie scores and pretending my life has background music paying in it.

I love learning, it keeps my mind stimulated. Keeps me alert and not so old. I don't wish to know everything in the world, just know enough to keep myself living. The best medicine is to learn about yourself, then you can heal yourself.

As I began to love myself I recognized that my mind can disturb me
and it can make me sick. But As I connected it to my heart, my
mind became a valuable ally. Today I call this
connection “WISDOM OF THE HEART”.

I love the way my lover looks at me, so calm and warm. He makes me feel like we can accomplish anything if we set our mind to it.

Texas is my hometown, the one place I feel like I will die in. My family is here, most of my closest friends that I've come to love as family lives here too.

I started playing music at an extremely young age. Little Rissa at the time would watch my mom play the piano. Listen more that watch. When she was done, I would hit the notes trying the catch the right one. I was playing Scott Joplin Entertainer by 5. Later I was put in lessons, it changed my life.

I have so much appreciation for music. You don't have to have a music teacher to appreciate it. All it takes is discipline and practice.
I later picked up the Ukulele, Mandolin, and Guitar. My Goal for music is to play at beautiful music hall for many many people.

I have come the realization that if you have a big family you have a lot more deaths in the family. Your heart will get broken so many times. It takes me years to get over a death. Sad thought from me but its just my opinion.

I meet my partner in crime, lover best friend and supporter of everything and anything I do. He is the father of our children and the person I want to die with. We've recently popped out travel cherry and now we have an addiction. So far going on vacation once every3-4 months.
He keeps me going when I can't. He gives me hard core advice that takes a while to sink in because I'm so stubborn. My lover is the hardest worker, best chef. He keeps me warm at night without using a blanket, that part I like. I love it when he sings even though he says he's terrible at it.

This is going to be my social platform from now on. There are stories and dreams that I have to write. This might as well be it. There is a lot on my mind and need to speak.
