A Simple Introduction

Simple Observation started out as your typical meme. The kind of thing you would see plastered over social media. And as the name implies, they were often simple observations that I found funny, presented in a very "minimalist" fashion.

I made these ever so often. Sharing them on sites such as Facebook. My friends and acquaintances liked them, so I kept making them. Rather pointless social media fodder. That is until I began to go political with them. After a while, Simple Observation started to look like this:

While I enjoyed making and/or sharing statements and thoughts like this, it wasn't exactly what I wanted to do. Not to mention that there's only so much you can point out in politics before you're looping around to the same old issues (an observation in-and-of itself). Making not-so-senseless memes was surprisingly limiting. A fragment of a much larger thought or understanding. So...I stopped.

I thought about various avenues to take. Do I start making videos? Do I record a podcast? Then, as I was randomly browsing around, I stumbled across Steemit. And it seems to be the solution I was after all along.
