ay! I am a fan of both, but my bread and butter is 90s east coast hip hop. Stuff like old school The Roots- Illadelph Halflife, Things Fall Apart, Do you Want More. Also, Bahamadia was ill, Jedi Mind Tricks dumb hard. I fuck with Meek Mill too and Sigel came with bars. I like the grittiness of philly hip hop and there is a history of good music coming out of Philly going back to Lady Day. But that being said, the hyphy movement is lit and fun to party to. Mac Dre, Too Short, E40 and Lil B all go crazy. I get down to both depending on what I am feeling that day.
mash that follow button and we can politik on some real music ish.
Of course The Legendary Roots Crew, Vinnie Paz & Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind, the Broad Street Bully Beanie Mack, Thizzelle Washington Silky Slim, $horty the Pimp, Charlie "Forty Fonzarelli" Hustle! I'll slip in there Cassidy, State Property, Philly representatives of The Army of Pharaohs. And of course, there's Planet Asia, Casual, Zion I, Del the Funky Homosapien, and Mistah F.A.B. representing the Bay Area too. Too many dope music to list from Philly and the Bay though. Already followed brother.
