> Introduction Post Michael Hasz
Hello Steemit Community.
What I bring to the Steemit community is a Zest for living.
I am a spinal surgeon, who helps people return to their active lives, through non-operative, as well as, surgical methods. In addition, I travel (over 100k miles this year so far: USA, Italy, Thailand, Vietnam, Lebanon, and upcoming Cypress and Cairo), I like to fly both airplanes and helicopters, and I am very interested in Nutrition, Health, Exercise, and Sports. I raise bees, water and snow ski, have built my own surfboard (and airplane), and am currently exploring Permaculture. I hope to share many of my adventures in these, as well as other, topics here on Steemit.
I first heard about Steemit this past weekend at a conference in San Diego. Ned was present, via teleconference, and he introduced me to block chain, and the culture of Steemit. I like the philosophy he presented, and this seems to be a very powerful moment, and possibly an inflection point in the social media world.
Also at the conference was Anwen Baumeister, who was actually live at this conference. It was great to meet her, and she gave some great pointers on how to get started here on Steemit.

I am seeing my colleagues from San Diego also are posting, and they are placing so many photos. I have a lot to aspire to to make these posts so rich. And I am seeing so many examples as I have explored Steemit! We are only begining to start this ride!
