Introduction/Mission Statement - Excited for what the future may hold!

We at Love Conquers All, believe in just that...that love conquers all.

This isn’t really the kind of love that you’ll find on Care Bears or in mindlessly saying “good morning” to someone. It’s a love that is gritty and messy. It’s not neat or organized. It can be a bull in a china shop but yet also a word of wisdom that silences storms. It’s a love of self.

We all have our junk and insecurities. Even wounds and trauma from just awful situations we’ve found ourselves in with no intention of being there in the first place. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. It’s 100% possible to see full confidence, healing, and love take place in ourselves happen. It’s possible to see evil lose and for good to win. We are mistaken though if we think the heart of that will come from something outside of ourselves. Political agendas can’t do it. Religious rules can’t do it. Only we can.

CAN THE WORLD CHANGE?

It’s hard to believe that anyone would say that they’re okay with how things are in the world today. From the global perspective, to national, then to even states, provinces, cities, counties, neighborhoods, even in some homes. There’s certainly no perfection in any of those things across the world but yet there is still good in them and plenty of potential for more. So how do we see the good? How do we see the life grow in our homes, neighborhoods, cities, etc?

By seeing it grow in us first.

The world won’t change unless we do it ourselves first. The individual is where it starts.

WHAT IS OUR PART?

There will always be those that won’t take part in changing themselves. They’re ignorant to the process and value of it. But the power of those who do take part in wanting to see a change will always outweigh those that don’t. Some may think we’re a little loopy and living in a Disney fairytale for thinking such change can exist.

We believe this Steemit page can help play some sort of part even if it’s a small one. Even if nobody reads our posts or buys into what we believe, if it can just spark a journey in one person to see the value in themselves, then it is worth it. From there, they can see restoration in families, true community in neighborhoods, and even peaceful cities that were once violent and unjust.

What’s awesome about loving/conquering yourself is that it’s never an “arrival” but rather a journey. It’s a never ending process that will have the ups and downs. We hope that some of you will join in this journey with us!
