THE PRIDE OF AN AFICAN LADY

This is traditional semi wedding ceremony attended some weeks ago.
The event took place some where in Africa.

The picture shows the value of the culture observed by the celebrant and the eyewitness.

This culture has many things it speak on, such as ; knowing the worth of the Lady, this give the man sense of honor and protection to the lady whenever he remember the price he paid.

It also serve as witness to the people that the man pass through the normal culture expected by him before he went away with the wife.

The money spent on this occasion by the man also have a contributing factor on the Lady dignity which let the lady to call the husband "olowo ori mi" meaning "the man that is capable of paying the tax"

In a nut shell, all this are done to reduce divorce and to give respect to the Lady for leaving her family to join the family of her husband.
