I would like to know the 'Pending Upvote SBD' for the person I am up-voting. I want to exchange upvotes with other dolphins and quickly clear my 'pending upvote'.
Love this. It solves a big problem i had with steem-it and makes it easier to find good content too!
I think Exchanging with only same persons will create a little group of people which they only upvote each other. I think It will be bad for minnows.

An issue i have is there is no incentive for me to upvote after I have $50 SBD or so waiting to clear.
Possible Solution:
First:
I think there should be focus on clearing users pending upvote. This would be accomplished by only adding 85% of the up-vote value to 'pending up-vote'.
Since more upvote is coming in than being credited, posts would naturally begin to clear. I think this would reduce the up-votable posts from thousands to hundreds.
Minnows will have the benefit of having their 'pending up-vote' overshot. So the system does benifit them
Second:
Get people to delegate to the @steemfollower account and actively look for good minnow posts that have been behaving well. Perhaps, later make the account vote algorithmically.

The trick is to have more upvote come in than is "promised".
I like the promoted option. If i have that checked my balance starts to clear.
do you think by this way, users will join steemfollower?
Another option you have: let users select the amount of promotion cost they want 2x-3x-4x-5x etc.... then sort by whoever pays the highest multiple.

I think 5x is really high, but anyway, I will add this option too.
the problem there is you can contribute $0.01 then promote at 5x then re-contribute after every vote. i would create a threahold of $1, $2, $3... pending upvote at each level to counter this
I think crediting 85%-90% of the up-vote value to pending upvote is the best solution.
I think you have two types of users:
dolphins and whales: who want to spend more of thier own SP promoting their own post.
minnows: who want extra rewards
The minows get what they want since upvotes will overshoot their small reward contribution,
Dolphins and whales get what they want because they can direct more of their own SP to a post they want to promote.
As you can see on the homepage. Today I decreased extra rewards. I need to think more about this problems.
